Survival Games Q&A

Discussion in 'Strategies' started by Valethar, Jul 9, 2012.

  1. I thought some of the new players would need some help about questions they have about the Survival Games, be it regarding chest locations, routes, tactics for fighting and whatnot.
So I'll open up this thread for any questions regarding Survival Games.

  3. Just a few ...

Is there an Ender Portal in SG3? There are several 'Eye of Ender's scattered throughout the map and I thought there could be an Easter Egg there somewhere. If somebody could post the co-ords it would be great.

And in the vanilla map of SG3, how many diamonds are there?

If anybody could help it would be amazing as I don't have the time to explore the latest map.
  4. What is ment by tier 2 and tier 1? And which chests are tier 2? (i heard that tear 2 is better somehow)
  5. The chest on top of the mountain is tier two, and cornucopia chests, and a few others I won't say. These will have iron armour, iron ingots and sometimes even a diamond in them.
  6. Aah, so they are some sort of loot improved chests? Ok...
What can a tier 2 chest contain that will never be in a tier 1? I read about iron and gold armour, diamonds, cooked food, mushroom stew and cookies. But do iron ingots only occur in tier 2 chests?
  7. I know they occur on tier 2, not sure on tier 1. The problem is you can't tell what tier a chest is, unless it has for example, a diamond or iron armour in it.
  8. Yeah, thats why i am asking about the things that occur ONLY in tier 2. Cooked food, cookies, iron armour, and diamonds. Anything else?
  9. If gotten iron ingot from a tier 1 chest I think. It is hard to tell sometimes

  10. The chests are completely random, (not completely, they still follow tier guidelines) but there could be several diamonds, or only 2. There isn't an Ender Portal (yet), but I doubt they'd implement one.
  11. Actually there is a ender portal but not completed, only 4 parts of it where you need to put in a eye of ender to open a secret door with 4 chests. But in these servers there are no eye of enders (yet)
  12. Really? Never found it.
  13. Near spawn *hint hint* there is a large waterfall entrance *hint hint*

  15. I found it anyway. *flail* Took me 2 minutes.
  16. The following things only appear in tier 1 chests: leather armor, raw food, rotten flesh

The following things only appear in tier 2 chests: compass, clock, gold armor, chainmail armor, iron armor, diamond, boats, cookies, cooked food

The following things can appear in both tier 1 and tier 2 chests: iron bars, gold bars, stone swords, bows, string, bowls(?)
  17. On map 2 is there VERY many chests at the top of skyscrapes. And in small rooms. Look uthere. Good luck!

Ps. In that chests is it swords, armor and some food.
  18. I have a question...

How many hearts of damage does a Sharpness I Stone Sword do agains't a player with only a Protection I Chain-mail Chest-plate?

I've been wondering for a while! Please help xD
  19. I don't think the sword do more than the same damage as a stone sword. Sharpness are more dangerous on mobs likepigs and sheeps
  20. Lol, I posted it too fast... As I said: sharpness do more damage on mobs. Not on players. But a protection I armor protect. So maybe it does like... 3 heart maybe? I don't know...
  21. Sharpness 1 does damage to all living entities, not only mobs. Sharpness increases the damage by 1 heart. So if there is a Protection 1 Chainmail, the damage would only go up by a half. If it was a Protection 1 Iron, the extra enchanted damage would be completely negated.
