Teams -_- ...

This Post might get a lot of hate considering a majority of people do this but i thought i may as well
see if there IS anyone else that dislikes this as well, Teams are overpowered and i have heard from both perspectives for eg. i heard one person say that Teaming is a strategy i do agree with this however there is a LINE between Strategy and Unfair! i always get teamed on even if i am well equipped (There is Power in Numbers - Bill Hayes) and as i've heard before from someone "This is the Hunger Games not the Alliance Games!" this is a built in advantage that cannot rally beremoved i just wanted to get this bull**** notcied!

LOL teaming is fun. It more fun to play with some people than alone.

I had to team against a team of 6... they were all teaming up with LikeTotallyToby

Lol i was part of that team and got all the way to DM. Tbh it was mostly for jokes and i left after that game but if u try it u might have enjoyed it

You can't 'ban' teaming up from the server. If you think it's unfair. Try to find a way to outplay them or get together with a few friends and team up yourself.

And there is nothing unfair about teaming, everybody has the ability too!

Teaming is not overpowered and it is not bad. It might be bad for noobs and such but, teams are just here and i cant see the SG servers without teamers. Look at the bright side of this If u manage to find some teamers and kill them you double the points u get from just killing one lonely player. (pluss ucan brag about it )

Yeah... Heningen is right.. I'm not saying i like teams... but its part of the game. and i've managed to kill a few teams allready so...

in the hunger games there are those careers from 1,2 and 4 that's always is teaming up with each other and hunt down the weakers one and here in the survival games it's random district instead

Teaming is a well used strategy, i use to team up with my "weaker" friends and hunt down other players and team.

I could brag with that i killed a team of two using a stone sword, one off them had a d-sword

The Hunger Survival Games are not supposed to be fair.

Look at it this way: If you're having trouble with teams, why don't you just team up yourself? The concept of teaming is completely fair in that everyone is able to do it. If you're looking for a 100% free for all Survival Games, then i'm afraid you've come to the wrong place.

I personally think it's awesome to play against teams when i'm alone (or sometimes with a team myself). Gives a fun challenge and a much greater reward when you beat them!

Clearly i am in the minority here but i dislike teams. Not so fussed when it's 2 people but when it goes into 3, 4, even 5 and higher, that is when it gets ridiculous. If you have 3 decent players teamed up then it's simply a drag because you just know they are going to get well-stocked and come back to sit in the middle, deterring everyone from going remotely near the Cornucopia. A valid tactic when solo but cheesy as hell when with others. Even if one of them dies, they just feed back information via some third-party voice-chat programme and tell their other team-mates when people are approaching, where to find other players, etc. There is no denying there is a certain cheapness to that.

I know people will argue "there are teams in the movie and books" and there sure are but this is meant to be a fun game and there is nothing fun about losing to a team all the time because they have the numbers to better any action you can think of.

I've beaten several teams and i am pretty sure anyone with a few victories under their belt can say the same, yet that is nothing but a blemish when compared to the times countless others have been killed off purely because they have the numbers on their side.

Another thing which grinds my gears is the team sentiment: Rarely have i come across a group of players that are actually nice and want to socialise in a positive manner when in the lobby. Usually they throw their weight around, speak immaturely and act like a complete bunch of... Well, you get my point. No wonder they are disliked by so many and who can honestly blame them?

Well there will always be some assholes in every game and not all as u describe them are like that there is some nice and some good. Btw i would also be mad if ppl say in the lobby "You team. Teamers have no balls" and u kno such things. Its not always easy to be on a team with ur friends when its people going all caps on you because you team. the teamers aint always the immature.

I only agree with this statement when it comes to teams, people will use skype and steam to communicate with other players after death. This is my only actual problem with teams. Perhaps after you die, if you were kicked from the server and no one is allowed to join after start. I understand this is a bit dramatic, but I think this issue has to be addressed somehow.

Most teams are full of new players spamming the chat asking for team. 95% of the people in these teams are "noobs" and are quite easy to kill even in big groups. The big teams of pros (The Arena Masters, Team Sprillity) are hard to beat.
I suggest you team up with some friends on skype/teamspeak/all-sit-at-a-table-with-computers-and-be-nerdy. I have done this before (all of them ) and they help a lot with doing well in the game. They don't always guarantee the win, but they are always fun

I'm not going to go down the "If you can't beat em' join them" road, i stick to my opinion and i wont be one of them!

I think the "if you cannot beat them, join them" sentiment is also a kick in the teeth. That's basically saying "if the cheapness is unfair and annoys you, be cheap yourself so all of the solos get annoyed even more". It doesn't rub well me. Teams should be reserved for two people, with friends and without doing the communication thing after one has died. Of course they never will be, which just annoys everyone even more and creates further frustration.

I think this game shouldn't be fair, like krasso said.
You have the option to make a team yourself.
